Safety Tips

Your safety comes first

Most members are genuine people looking for a life partner. These simple habits help you stay safe while you get to know someone.

How we protect you

  • Screened Profiles

Every profile is reviewed by our team before it becomes visible to other members.

  • Report & Block

Report any suspicious profile. Our team investigates every report and removes members who break our rules.

Tips for every step

  1. Protect your details online

    • Do not put your phone number, email or home address in your profile text or photos.
    • Share personal contact details only after you have spoken a few times and feel comfortable.
    • Never share OTPs, passwords, bank details, Aadhaar or PAN numbers with anyone.
    • Use a strong password and log out on shared or public devices.
  2. Get to know them gradually

    • Take your time. A genuine match will not rush you into decisions.
    • Talk on a video call before meeting, so you know the person matches their photos.
    • Ask about their education, job and family, and check that the answers stay consistent.
    • Involve your family early. Their experience is a strong safety check.
  3. Meeting for the first time

    • Meet in a busy public place such as a café or restaurant during the day.
    • Tell a family member or friend where you are going and who you are meeting.
    • Arrange your own transport to and from the meeting.
    • Keep your phone charged and leave if you feel uncomfortable at any point.
  4. Verify before you commit

    • Visit the family at their home before finalising anything.
    • Confirm employment, education and marital status through trusted references.
    • Check that the person's social media presence matches what they told you.
    • Never agree to marriage under pressure or without proper family discussion.

Red flags to watch for

Stop talking to the member and report the profile if you notice any of these:

  • They ask for money, gifts or financial help for any reason, such as a medical emergency, customs fee or visa.
  • They claim to live abroad and send parcels or ask you to pay to release one.
  • They avoid video calls or meeting in person, or make excuses every time.
  • They push you to move the conversation off the site very quickly.
  • Their story changes, or their photos look like a model or stock image.
  • They pressure you to decide quickly or to keep the relationship secret from family.

We will never ask you to

  • Share your password or OTP over a call or message.
  • Pay money to another member to unlock a match.
  • Transfer money to a personal bank account or UPI ID.

Report a profile

If something feels wrong, tell us. Share the profile name or ID and what happened. Reports are confidential.
