Acceptance of these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and MatrimonialPartner. By registering, submitting an enquiry or using our website, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

These terms are an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not require a physical or digital signature.

Nature of our service

MatrimonialPartner is a matchmaking platform for people who are seriously looking for marriage. It is not a dating website. We help members discover and connect with each other, but the decision to proceed with any match is entirely yours and your family's.

Who can use the service

To register or be registered, the member must:

  • Be a woman aged 18 or above, or a man aged 21 or above.
  • Be legally eligible to marry under the laws that apply to them, and be unmarried, divorced, widowed or legally separated as stated on the profile.
  • Not be prohibited by any court or law from using such services.

A parent, sibling, relative or friend may create a profile on someone's behalf only with that person's consent.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has accessed it.

Each person may have only one active profile.

Your profile and content

All information you provide must be true, accurate and up to date. Photos must be of the member, recent, and not contain contact details, nudity or offensive content.

You own the content you upload. By uploading it, you give MatrimonialPartner permission to display it to other members and to use it to provide and promote our services. This permission ends when you delete the content or your profile.

We may edit, refuse or remove any content that breaks these terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Create a fake profile, impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your age, marital status, income or background.
  • Ask any member for money or financial help, or use the service for any commercial purpose.
  • Harass, threaten, abuse or send obscene or offensive messages to anyone.
  • Share other members' details or photos outside the platform without their consent.
  • Use bots, scrapers or other automated tools to access or copy the website.
  • Post anything that is illegal, defamatory or promotes discrimination or hatred.

Breaking these rules may result in your profile being suspended or removed without refund, and may be reported to the authorities.

Screening and verification

We screen profiles and may verify some details such as phone numbers. However, we cannot fully verify every statement made by members, and screening is not a guarantee of anyone's identity, background or intentions.

You are responsible for carrying out your own checks before meeting anyone or making any commitment. Please read our Safety Tips.

Calls, SMS and WhatsApp

By registering or submitting an enquiry, you agree that our team may contact you by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email about your profile, matches and our services, even if your number is registered on the National Do Not Call (DND) registry. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time.

Intellectual property

The MatrimonialPartner name, logo, website design and content (except content uploaded by members) belong to us. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our written permission.

Suspension and termination

You can hide or delete your profile at any time.

We may suspend or remove any profile, with or without notice, if we believe it breaks these terms, is fake, or puts other members at risk.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Our services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We are not responsible for the conduct of any member, online or offline, or for the accuracy of information members provide.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MatrimonialPartner is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount, if any, you paid us in the six months before the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to compensate MatrimonialPartner for any loss, claim or expense arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the service.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will first be attempted to be resolved through discussion with our Grievance Officer. If unresolved, the courts at Ranchi, Jharkhand will have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.
